Draft Waitangi day no 1

Waitangi Day!

It was Waitangi day and I was so excited to go out to the Waitangi carnival with my Mum, Dad and Kane, but not Natalie, she was at her friends house .

It was Tuesday morning at around 6 o'clock and I was in my house on the couch watching TV.

A couple hours passed and I was still watching TV. Mum up to me and told me to get dressed because we were going on a walk. I ran to get dressed and we got in the car and drove off for the day. When we got to the walk there was lots of traffic. There was a lot of leaves on the walk. It took an hour to get to the carnival. But we were expecting a couple of hours. When we got to the carnival we ate a sandwich and a apple each. Then we looked around and head back of to the car. When we got to the car the car was boiling hot. On the way to pick up Natalie we went to the mission house. It was so cool. I loved it down stairs. Dad said it was very old We went to go pick up Natalie. We got Natalie and we went home and had and ice block and mum and dad had a beer. We had a play in the pool and then we went inside and played a board game. I won. Then it was time to go to sleep. I couldn’t wait until next waitangi day.
